I've begun selling my product and sales seem to be going well. People are very fond of the cookies especially, mainly because it is semi-homemade. I've been selling 2 for $0.75 and 4 for $1.25 and made about $17 the first day. Sales are not that consistent, because it all depends on what classes I have each day. For instance, my English and History class buys more than my others. Some other variables are what time of the day it is and how many people I see. Usually I get more sales in the afternoon because everyone is craving an after school snack.. We have all posted on social media about our project and what are cause is for the fundraiser. With every sale, I thank the customer and explain to them that they are helping underprivileged women in Africa. I want to make sure that each of them know about are cause and where their money is going to. This is how we will spread the word about our cause and address the problems of inequality specifically in Sierra Leone.
